The autobiography of Switzerland's most successful Formula 1 driver is now on the market. Even 17 years after his death, Clay Regazzoni has lost none of his charisma and fascination. In the new German edition of the book, Clay talks about Clay. It was created after his serious accident in Long Beach in 1980. The book comprises 304 pages and 360 photos, some of which have never been published before.
Hot duels
Thurgau National Councillor Christian Lohr also revealed himself to be a big Regazzoni fan. "He would still rave about the hot duels on the hot asphalt back then". After his tragic accident, Clay Regazzoni campaigned to return to the road as a driver and racing driver. With his demand for equal rights and opportunities, he has moved many things and many people. Clay Regazzoni has thus remained a legend in two senses of the word.
